| Nice shot. Pattern on cup draws my attention away from the crossword; plain color might work well. |

| A solid shot. Pulling down the blue might have been an option, but I don't think it's problematic this time 'round. |

| We must think alike. I ended up doing something completely different but this was almost identical to the vision I was going to try to create. DOF seems to be on the coffee mug. I might have tried a wider DOF to bring the paper into focus. Then again, that might have made the photo to busy. Nice job. |

| good idea, but a tighter more dramatic grouping with less empty space, and with more of a morning feel in the light (lower and more yellow) would have put this in the top contenders. |

| Good idea, but the composition is a little loose. I would like to see this with everything closer together, maybe the coffe cup to the right of the pencil, and the glasses on the plexers ad. This arrangement would not only be more dynamic, it would let you get away with less depth of field, so you coul use more dramatic lighting. |
