 That's me. I really do bite my nails.

I did this capture at the office because we have wonderful indirect light and huge windows and white walls - which seemed the perfect exposure for this type of shot.

I tried to frame it to capture the texture of the fingertips and I really wanted my chipped teeth to show up to highlight the "raggedy-ness" of this sort of bad habit.

Post Processing: Tight Crop, convert to B&W, unsharp mask.

Nice closee-up. Good cropping. Slanted mouth does well. I would love to see the color version as well. High score!

I think black-and-white was a poor choice for this shot. Grey skin looks dead. Either sepia tone or full color would have been more appealing. I am impressed by the clear focus and dynamic composition.
