| Wowo, just looking at your portfolio, this was robbed, what a fantastic photo. Look at the diff between the Avg all users and Avg commenters, but I suppose you already know. |

Greetings from the Critique Club!
I'm probably not the best critiquer for this one because quite frankly I think it rocks. I LOVE the very shallow DOF on this. The smoothness of the OOF areas is quite lovely and enviable. Exposure is very good. About the only thing I can think of to critique may be the somewhat centered crop, but I do like it that way, and the angle forms a very pleasing diagonal within the frame.
As for score - I'm guessing for the most part with most voters it met the challenge. Undoubtedly the SCORE downfall is the blurriness, which of course for me makes this picture work. I'm hoping the Chromey award (congrats!) and L2's comment help make up for the score since this really is quite a beautiful picture. (And I must add that I'm quite fond of that Lightroom preset, too.) Nice work - keep it up and ignore the scores when you can! |
