 This is a shot some people might recognise, I've always wanted to enter it but never got the chance! This was taken in Florence on the same day as a few of my other popular shots - I was clearly in the zone.

PP (as far as I can remember): spot healing, dodged highlights in the eyes, selected the skin and overlayed a Gaussian blur at around 50%, neat image, black and white layer (neutral density or max white, can't remember exactly), added border, resize, sharpened the eyes.

Sweet photo of a pretty girl. The eyes may be a touch too pimped for my taste. They are not too white, but the dark outlines around the irises are noticeable, even though artfully drawn. It doesn't hurt the photo though and may in fact improve it, so what do I know? :-)

Good portrait. And B&W is a good choice. But the necklet and the strap of a bag (?) are somewhat distracting. Without would make a stronger image.

Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo. Still, this is an extraordinary image. Bumping ...

I ck the eyebrows and the eyes (where they are focused) and your shot has both (obviously)...really great...she engages me with her eyes and her brows are framing her eyes....

Love the eyes, really draws you into the shot. I think the skin has been overly smoothed giving it a rather flat look. The more I look at it the more I like it though, nicely controlled B&W conversion as well.

Your little sister is very pretty. Great focus on her eyes. I think I would have liked to have seen just the hint of a smile around her mouth.

Good selection of shots. Beautiful lady, and I guess I don't have to ask if she's got a big sister. I like the flyaway hair, but if you wanted to tidy it up you could have cloned it out, but I'm glad you didn't. Good post-processing.

I like the tonal range that you captured and created with your BW conversion, but I'd prefer to see this shot as almost anything other than straight on. Turning to one side or another would not only add interest to the image, but also make for a much more flattering capture for your subject.

What a lovely portrait! Her eyes say she's intense, but her slight almost kinda sorta smile says she's also very warm - maybe a bit shy but not at all when you get to know her. Very beautiful young lady!
