Pretty baby, but the selective desat makes this a bit creepy (probably not your intention).

Those are defiantly some blue eyes. Nice smile

Interesting use of selective desat, I think it would look great in color, her skin is already so light but having a little color in there would give it more life I think.

Beautiful blue eyes. Family of Frank Sinatra?

I think this would be SO much better without the selective desaturation.

I know you changed this to B&W but her skin tone looks "shallow"...might you have done more in Curves/levels to richen up her tone??? I do not know for sure

hm bit grey (so its flat) those eyes could be brighter (or the whole picture) and those selective colours in this version didnt help it
beautiful baby but the picture itself has just three for me sorry ;D

take care and say hello to little one ;D

selective color just misses the mark needed more detail and sharpness in the eyes to make that blue pop

Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo.

Beautiful baby... though I dont like the selective colouring here.

brave attempt at a selective desat. I do not think this will be scoring well right now. anyway some of my recommendations are (keeping with the selective desat strategy)
- pump up the overall contrast slightly
- selectively sharpen the eyes
- selectively increase the contrast of the eyes only
- also go for a tighter squarer crop
Try it and see what you think. 4 from me

Not sure I'm feelin the selective desat here and I wish the details in the eyes were more prominent.

the whites of the eyes should not be blue imo

Very sweet. Would like to see it a little bit brighter.

Beautiful baby and blue eyes. Love the expression. Focus just a little off and a little more contrast probably would have made this a really good photo

The selective desaturation does not enhance this shot :(

The selective saturation of the eyes is really not to my tastes - gives the baby a "Midwich Cuckoo" type feel which I find rather creepy.

Nice snapshot, IMHO the selective desaturation isn't the best choice.

careful with the saturation- the white of her eyes is also blue.

Good pic and idea with the eyes in color.

Good idea with the selective desaturation. Direct flash tends to make photos look flat.

Beautiful bub! For this type of shot I think the eyes would give more impact if they were a bit brighter blue.

eyes are too overprocessed for my liking and the background distracts me

the selective desat doesnt do anything to help
