| Very surprised this didn't finish higher - I thought it a very pleasing portrait. The quiet contemplation of the boy is enhanced by the natural light and the setting. |

| He looks very thoughtful. A bit of contrast or d/b on the background might isolate him a bit more from the background |

| Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo. |

| I like this shot. The pose looks natural, he looks relaxed and has a dreamy expression. My only suggestion would be to deepen the shadows a bit. The light is so bright it's teetering on washing him out a bit. I think you need more darker tones to make him pop. |

| The sun is to bright for this kind of picture. Next time move him to the shade and you will see a big difference. Nice candid expression tho. |
