Ok, after this one I'm going to stop. God, this is so good. The color, the focus - both just terrific. The angle makes the light source really come through. His expression in that split second is so intense. Love his eyes. Great job all around. |

WOW... fabulous shot! Shame about the burnt out highlights, as this is one of the most effective musician portraits I've ever seen. |

A very interesting centered subject. There is a lot to look at here. The eyes are excellent. Very green. I like the blurred stick. However, I'm not sure if I'd have figured it out without the title. Great focus and clarity. Lighting is a slight bit harsh on the left side (our right) of his face, but otherwise, I think the lighting is perfect for the mood of the photo. ~Heather~ |

Very interesting subject matter; I like the dramatic/action capture here with the theatrical lighting. The intensity of the light coming from the left of the performer, though, too great (creating a large blown out area on the face and a gaping shadow from the nose) work well here to provide the performer with a "possesed" look. Well done. |

Theres a lot going on in this picture, moving drumstick and necklace seem to draw me away from your intended target. Nice expression, nice shot. |

Not sure if this will score well with most people, but I really think it is a striking, well focused, colorful photo that really grabs you. The eyes being the "center" works for me. I also like the contrast of dark behind him, light in front. |

Great challenge interpretation and good use of the advanced editing possibilities. Perhaps a bit overexposed right side of the face? I think I would have gone at it to leave more focus on the eye. |

This is a truly great shot. That bit of overexposure on his cheek is the only thing I would want to change. Otherwise, I think this picture flawless and looks amazing. Great job! |
