Wow, Joanna! You certainly have some beautiful star and light photos, but I do believe this is one of your best. I think the 6.16 score doesn't nearly do it justice!

| I think the thing that appeals to me here is the stark contrast of rock and snow. The flowing river adds a nice dimension. The sky color and detail are nice. Overall, the whole photo seems to work. It's a pleasant place I'd like to experience. Among best in class. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1115 images, I gave 93 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 93, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.
I love the almost monochromatic feel to this image, with the hint of blue at the top giving the shot that little bit extra. Nicely controlled exposure on the snow.
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

| I like this shot, and I love the way the sun looks! You probably could have cropped those rocks on the bottom off to bring more focus to the sun. Very cool (literally!). |

| The sun looks sooo cool in this, the way the rays extend out from it. I love the dark blue of the sky and the contrast between the white show and the dark parts of forest and rock. |
