looks like frosting...would a gradient have helped the blown out foreground some?

interesting contrast, you handled the exposures really well, post processing is good, but the composition is not too exciting IMO.7

Nice shot. The larger empty spot in the lower right doesn't lend much to the picture. Would it have been strong from a different angle?

snow is so hard to get exposed correctly, I might have cropped some of the left off to bring the rocks closer (IMO)

I think trees are so pretty when snow covered like this, and you can still see the storm in the sky, nice capture

No offense, but it doesn't really look like there was just a storm. No indication of strong winds at all. In fact, the snow looks like it's been sitting there, melting and re-freezing for a few days. When it did snow, it was probably a nice gentle snowfall with virtually no wind at all (look at the pocks and pits in the grass and how nicely the snow is piled up on the trees.

Still, it's a somewhat appealing display of snow...

Leads the eye nicely, maybe could benefit from some more "DPC Cliche punchiness"ΓΆ„ΒΆ. If I were a dog, I would be thrilled, but which one to use?

Lovely snow-laden trees. It would have been really nice if the ground was all covered. I like the background of the hills and storm clouds. Nice and sharp without being oversharpened.
