looks like a really nice panorama, just so darn hard to see when it has to be so small for this venue

Too bad DPC doesn't give us the tools to better show off panoramas. This is a good one.
03/14/2009 10:09:04 AM
A nice panorama, would love to see this bigger so I can see more detail.
03/13/2009 09:46:30 PM
nice panoramic and subject- great colors
03/13/2009 07:30:33 PM
Wide panorama, but though the sky is interesting, the landscape itself lacks depth and interest. The foreground building might have been tweeked a bit to stand out more and provide depth.
03/13/2009 04:50:06 PM
lovely panorama, but the image size here doesn't do it any favor
03/13/2009 11:55:47 AM
Very good processing in the detail and luminance. This probably looks so much better in a larger file size, but that's the problem when you have too much information to fit in the normal size of an image.
03/13/2009 11:00:13 AM
Wow, this looks like a very cool shot, with the town all sprawled out and the sky so blue. Too bad its really too small here to see that properly..
03/13/2009 10:37:06 AM
Wonderful panorama. I'll bet it looks a lot nicer on full scale.
03/13/2009 10:09:28 AM
I wish they would have a panoramic challenge here so we could zoom in on all the details of a shot like this.
03/13/2009 06:57:56 AM
Interesting panoramic scene. Nicely done.
03/13/2009 06:11:13 AM
nice panoramic shot
03/13/2009 01:06:16 AM
It's really risky to post a panorama shot here because you lose so much verticalsize. Still, it's a nice ghost town looking scene.
03/13/2009 12:15:07 AM
very effective wide angle - great clouds...
03/12/2009 11:10:57 PM
Okay, you convinced me. I don't want to live in Bodie. I would actually like to see more of the scene, but the panorama format makes it hard.
03/12/2009 09:23:22 PM
too narrow to do it justice
03/12/2009 08:51:35 PM
Nice natural lighting and lots of interest.
03/12/2009 04:37:48 PM
bad format my friend! Too small to see
03/12/2009 02:32:17 PM
Good shot. It might be too thin of a picture to appreciate.
03/12/2009 01:52:14 PM
the picture looks amazing, unfortunately its to small. I would like to see it in full size.
03/12/2009 11:13:05 AM
this is in CA?
03/12/2009 07:06:56 AM
Cool shot but a panorama loses its impact at 720 pixels wide. I wish I could see the larger version.
03/12/2009 06:38:39 AM
Nice pano but the house at front should all be in the frame.
03/12/2009 04:01:20 AM
The shot might be fine, but with this ratio, at this resolution.... not working for me.
03/11/2009 10:13:15 PM
A very nice panorama that I'm sure this resolution does not do justice to. The composition is good and the colors are very natural. I would like to comment on the details but I'm afraid I can't do so with this resolution....
03/11/2009 10:05:40 PM
Nice panorama. I love ghost towns. If you've never checked out Molson, WA, I'd recommend it (though it may have changed since my last visit).
03/11/2009 06:05:41 PM
Great scene... I'm sure this looks much better at a larger size where you can really appreciate the details.
03/11/2009 04:02:30 PM
Bodie! I love that place. Not sure if you captured the most interesting parts of it though.
03/11/2009 03:59:37 PM
nice panorama, but so many details get lost in the size of the shot, which you had no control over.
03/11/2009 10:32:28 AM
Nice shot, even thoug the size makes it hard to really appreciate it.
03/11/2009 09:44:37 AM
Looks like this panorama might work at a larger size, but it's pretty hard to see. :-(
03/11/2009 09:41:00 AM
i like the pano but want more details
03/11/2009 05:15:29 AM
Very nice use of a panoramic presentation - adds to the rustic "old west" feel of this. Very nice cooperative sky for this one as well!
03/11/2009 02:18:34 AM
cool capture
03/11/2009 12:09:27 AM
a little small on your sizing, the building in the center is cut off...but then there might have been something in the way...excellent panoramic view
