looks like a really nice panorama, just so darn hard to see when it has to be so small for this venue |

Too bad DPC doesn't give us the tools to better show off panoramas. This is a good one. |

A nice panorama, would love to see this bigger so I can see more detail. |

nice panoramic and subject- great colors |

Wide panorama, but though the sky is interesting, the landscape itself lacks depth and interest. The foreground building might have been tweeked a bit to stand out more and provide depth. |

lovely panorama, but the image size here doesn't do it any favor |

Very good processing in the detail and luminance. This probably looks so much better in a larger file size, but that's the problem when you have too much information to fit in the normal size of an image. |

Wow, this looks like a very cool shot, with the town all sprawled out and the sky so blue. Too bad its really too small here to see that properly.. |

Wonderful panorama. I'll bet it looks a lot nicer on full scale. |

I wish they would have a panoramic challenge here so we could zoom in on all the details of a shot like this. |

Interesting panoramic scene. Nicely done. |

It's really risky to post a panorama shot here because you lose so much verticalsize. Still, it's a nice ghost town looking scene. |

very effective wide angle - great clouds... |

Okay, you convinced me. I don't want to live in Bodie. I would actually like to see more of the scene, but the panorama format makes it hard. |

too narrow to do it justice |

Nice natural lighting and lots of interest. |

bad format my friend! Too small to see |

Good shot. It might be too thin of a picture to appreciate. |

the picture looks amazing, unfortunately its to small. I would like to see it in full size. |

Cool shot but a panorama loses its impact at 720 pixels wide. I wish I could see the larger version. |

Nice pano but the house at front should all be in the frame. |

The shot might be fine, but with this ratio, at this resolution.... not working for me. |

A very nice panorama that I'm sure this resolution does not do justice to. The composition is good and the colors are very natural. I would like to comment on the details but I'm afraid I can't do so with this resolution.... |

Nice panorama. I love ghost towns. If you've never checked out Molson, WA, I'd recommend it (though it may have changed since my last visit). |

Great scene... I'm sure this looks much better at a larger size where you can really appreciate the details. |

Bodie! I love that place. Not sure if you captured the most interesting parts of it though. |

nice panorama, but so many details get lost in the size of the shot, which you had no control over. |
|
|
03/11/2009 10:32:28 AM |
Nice shot, even thoug the size makes it hard to really appreciate it. |

Looks like this panorama might work at a larger size, but it's pretty hard to see. :-( |

i like the pano but want more details |

Very nice use of a panoramic presentation - adds to the rustic "old west" feel of this. Very nice cooperative sky for this one as well! |

a little small on your sizing, the building in the center is cut off...but then there might have been something in the way...excellent panoramic view |
