I would have bumped up the contrast and saturation a little

Good shot. A bit more color might help raise the score.

Haha, what a moment to capture and enter. It's a little too light/oof/unsaturated for me but I look forward to seeing more of your stuff, I like people who enter with a sense of humor :)

A truly monumental hidden gem! I'm seeing pointing, entering and shooting, but I can't see a crop!

Going for the brown?

You really should get those brake lights fixed! Their expressions are priceless.

In my belief, nobody should be proud of NOT editing a image :) Sorry, I bet it was a funny moment, but it is a weak photo.
03/16/2009 03:06:23 AM
hehehe i'd bump the contrast a bit though :)

Cute, but this could have benefited from some additional post processing to enhance contrast and adjust the white balance.

Interesting shot... though the colours are washed out.

A critique would be pointless, you clearly knew what you were entering. I have to appreciate the humor here.

i have a shot similar to this i took at the National Zoo in Washington DC. Funny to watch.
03/14/2009 10:58:33 PM
Maybe you should have added "contrast" to your editing steps? :) A cute scene but it does seem flat and washed out.
03/14/2009 07:33:47 PM
Did you have to be quick to get this one? :-)
03/14/2009 04:34:50 PM
You forgot to enhance your entry!
03/14/2009 03:10:56 PM
interesting shot, but seems awfully light. wish there was more color/definition in the shells.
03/14/2009 12:24:32 PM
Niiice. Turtle sex. So that's where turtle wax comes from?
03/13/2009 11:06:28 PM
Focus looks lttle bit off.
03/13/2009 10:39:54 PM
Funny, but the focus seems off.
03/13/2009 10:08:29 PM
i love the expression on the lower turtle. I hope it's a girl...
03/13/2009 03:11:52 PM
Interesting shapes and nice soft hues! 7
03/13/2009 02:12:26 PM
Haha, nice.
03/13/2009 12:50:07 PM
How could this photo not make anyone smile. What a great gem for this challenge.
03/13/2009 12:01:51 PM
funny
03/13/2009 09:19:41 AM
Exhibitionists! A bit bright; perhaps they prefer it that way.
03/13/2009 08:25:11 AM
oh, I think you've interrupted something here
03/13/2009 06:42:37 AM
Haha dollar turtles on the way !
03/13/2009 06:26:29 AM
Funny shot, could use >Contrast>
03/13/2009 05:32:04 AM
Needs a little more pop in the colors IMO
03/13/2009 05:25:00 AM
The Saturation and Focus leave a lot to be desired in this photo... there is so much more you could have done to bring it up at least 2 if not 3 points. Should you care to I could share some ideas with you.
03/13/2009 03:50:23 AM
No processing? Really??
03/13/2009 03:14:05 AM
My 12 year old son's comment on this one is "random".
A natural moment caught in time.
03/13/2009 03:13:46 AM
thats something you dont see every day
03/12/2009 10:51:53 PM
you forgot the last step...get screwed!
03/12/2009 10:50:39 PM
baw chicka wah wah
03/12/2009 10:50:06 PM
curves>levels...to flat and dull in the tones...
03/12/2009 10:35:19 PM
Dodgy!
03/12/2009 08:31:39 PM
Tortoise > Point > Plunge > Shoot > Escape
03/12/2009 08:13:10 PM
miss some contrast at the turles
03/12/2009 02:17:07 PM
ummm, ok,,, the flat light didn't do you any favours, even though the tortoises were co-operative.
03/12/2009 08:52:16 AM
"Mommy, why are the turtles fighting?"
03/12/2009 05:33:01 AM
lol.
03/11/2009 11:04:36 PM
Points for a humorous title. Are these galapagos turtles?
03/11/2009 09:07:15 PM
It's too bad that you left out the >Process> part. It could have made this a much better image, I think. It needs some contrast to make those shells really defined.

Not voting yet.
03/11/2009 08:10:43 PM
Turtle sex. Awesome!
03/11/2009 08:04:44 PM
Just a touch more contrast would have made the image more dynamic.
03/11/2009 05:35:29 PM
> Laugh at fools who dont get the joke
03/11/2009 04:55:26 PM
Making babes! hahah. Cute picture. The coloring is drab tho but the subject matter is different.
03/11/2009 03:22:17 PM
a little lower angle, sharper focus and more contrast and saturation, and you have a great funny shot, this is just funny.
03/11/2009 01:53:47 PM
Ha ha nice timing. I wish the coloring was a little more vivid.
03/11/2009 12:52:32 PM
Very funny photo. Cute.
03/11/2009 11:56:40 AM
title says it all.
03/11/2009 11:04:38 AM
The past three shots I've seen have been peaceful landscapes! Thanks for removing me from my tranquil state! On the tech side... perhaps a little contrast would improve your chances... it seems he's already taking his!
03/11/2009 08:34:36 AM
LOL! A little more contrast might help, it looks a little washed out.
03/11/2009 08:14:21 AM
Hmm, not sure what to comment on this :) Different I suppose!
03/11/2009 07:38:44 AM
Too over exposed for my taste, the light is too harsh, (middle of the day?) I think the photo would be imporved if there was green grass above the subjects. Best of luck.
03/11/2009 05:36:26 AM
wow what a gem
03/11/2009 03:17:02 AM
Well it's all part of life, isn't it?
