Nice Composition and thoughtful..
03/17/2009 10:41:34 AM
Might be a nice shot, just that it is difficult to see anything as the photo is too small.
03/17/2009 09:10:03 AM
Poignant image but looses it's impact because of the very small size.
03/17/2009 05:23:03 AM
Like the slats framing her face. shame about the small size as this would be lovely bigger (not dropping marks for it)
03/16/2009 10:20:25 PM
Not large enough to give a critique.

Cute picture. (Too small, though.)
03/16/2009 05:25:44 PM
your thumbnail is way to small...did you save for web? not that I am any expert but if you want help fixing your thumbnail sizing (this is something that I recently learned how to do and it has made such a difference)...let me know if you want any help with it......your blues are pretty but the size of the thumbnail really distracts...sorry
03/16/2009 05:18:55 PM
I like the framing of the girl by the blue fence. But it's too small a photo to really tell much else about it. You are allowed 720 pixels. Use them
03/16/2009 03:10:52 PM
good things come in small package, and this is a real gem.. 8
03/16/2009 10:45:32 AM
I wish you had used the 720 pixels you were allowed instead of 300 so we could see her better. Check the tutorial on saving for DPC. I like the fence or whatever is in front of her. Cropping more to fill the frame with her face with some blue above and below would have been good, provided you didn't crop it even smaller. I'm afraid many people will be voting this very low only because of the size. That's unfortunate.
03/16/2009 03:23:34 AM
pity its a little small
03/16/2009 02:50:14 AM
Well captured and presented. But alas, too small to appreciate fully.
03/16/2009 01:40:21 AM
Good capture but needs to be a little larger.
03/15/2009 11:33:29 PM
way too small.
03/15/2009 09:26:17 PM
Nice framing.
03/15/2009 09:25:41 PM
Nice framing, cute shot.
03/15/2009 09:06:13 PM
needs to be larger to be appreciated
03/15/2009 03:57:59 PM
I like how the blue boards/rails frame her. A slightly larger version so we could see more details would be good. It looks like the light frames and highlights her nicely.
03/15/2009 03:47:29 PM
strong portrait - well done - image size could be larger
03/15/2009 03:27:24 PM
Image is rather small so difficult to say too much. The composition works well though.
03/15/2009 03:05:50 PM
interesting documentary shot, but it's so small it's hard to judge the actual image
03/15/2009 12:05:32 PM
too small , yet cute but just 4 for me :)

brano ;D
03/15/2009 08:39:36 AM
I like the idea of this but for me the photo is too small to see any detail and comment on it properly.
03/15/2009 05:51:32 AM
lovely shot that would of HUGELY benefited from being larger.. you have probably heard that 50 times already though..
03/15/2009 01:10:11 AM
It would have been nicer if the picture was a bit bigger, and to have seen the little girl's expression.
03/15/2009 12:38:20 AM
oh , why did you submit such a small image. in this case , size does matter especially on the impact from your shot.
I like the composition and the little girl's informal pose, she has nice eyes , but I can't see enough detail.
03/15/2009 12:09:53 AM
Good concept, too small to be effective
03/14/2009 06:41:01 PM
Love the composition of this shot.
03/14/2009 05:29:26 PM
She looks sweet, but sad. It's really hard to judge this photo because it is so small.
03/14/2009 03:55:35 PM
Feels like prison. The colors and lines are strong, but the image is too small to see much detail.
03/13/2009 10:42:44 PM
Far too small. DPCs size allowances are too small as it is, but always try to post images at the full size allowance that they do give for challenges. Its impossible to decipher focus or detail with the image posted this small.
03/13/2009 07:12:08 PM
nice eyes.......just lost because of size.....love how you framed her
03/13/2009 06:12:27 PM
Such a small peak into her world.
03/13/2009 02:31:23 PM
This might be a decent shot. Unfortunately, it's just too small to tell.
03/13/2009 02:06:45 PM
Sweet little detail shot.
03/13/2009 11:57:42 AM
A very sweet child! I really wish this were larger. There's a great tutorial on how to resize for DPC - look under the "Learn" tab.
03/13/2009 06:07:10 AM
Very small, but a nice natural border.
03/13/2009 05:54:15 AM
nicely framed by the fence
03/12/2009 11:49:56 PM
A bit small, of course, but I wish more of the face was visible (the mouth in particular).
03/12/2009 11:14:17 PM
Great composition!
03/12/2009 09:57:26 PM
I'm sure it's a wonderful shot, it looks well framed and the likes. However, it's just TOO SMALL!!!!
03/12/2009 07:38:57 PM
Way to small but she looks darling.
03/12/2009 05:07:11 PM
To small to view the details adequately. I wish you well in the challenge.
03/12/2009 03:48:27 PM
Good shot but a very small pic.
03/12/2009 03:42:02 PM
What a great capture. To me it looks as if you captured those moments that are so hard to find. Her hand over her eye as to show maybe she's wiping a tear away. Her experssion is so genuin. To finish, taking the shot through a fence (I'm guessing) is a nice touch. It isn't destracting for me and does nothing but add to the emotion. However, I do wish it was bigger. But none-the-less, this is one of those priceless moments, caught and captured. 7
03/12/2009 02:04:00 PM
would have been a much more impact full image if it was bigger.
03/12/2009 01:31:06 PM
I'm sure you've had tons of comments about the size. What a pity, it's a lovely image, if only it was bigger....
03/12/2009 01:26:03 PM
Nice capture, the picture size will certainly hurt your score.
03/12/2009 12:48:22 PM
The natural framing of the face by the blue fence and then the framing of the one eye by her other hand is a cool effect.
03/12/2009 12:24:11 PM
Good image...I am sure you are being pounded by the size. I like her expression.
03/12/2009 10:27:22 AM
nice picture but much much much too small
03/12/2009 06:52:18 AM
You have really disadvantaged yourself by not making use of the full 720 pixel limit. I do like the image though.
03/12/2009 02:04:45 AM
Not sure why such a small crop, but there we go. Sad picture, longing eyes!
03/11/2009 10:55:08 PM
To small.
03/11/2009 08:46:56 PM
Image a bit small for me.
03/11/2009 06:29:53 PM
it would be much beter if it were larger
03/11/2009 05:56:21 PM
I like the framing, could do with being bigger though
03/11/2009 02:39:42 PM
I don't know what the blue fence adds to this photo. It's not what I think of when I picture Cambodia.
03/11/2009 12:51:27 PM
Comment number 100 about the size - you really should use the full dimensions available to you to aid your message.

Or maybe I am reading this wrong, and that is the point of the size - you are highlighting how small and vulnerable this little girl is. Maybe the fence is there to protect her. Hmm.
03/11/2009 12:12:41 PM
too small
03/11/2009 10:56:48 AM
To bad the image is so small. It would have scored well in full 720pixels size.
03/11/2009 01:04:40 AM
wish this was bigger and i could see more of the girl
03/11/2009 12:37:03 AM
I wish this were bigger so I could see more detail, because it is composed very nicely and the colors and lighting are good too.
