| There is almost something unearthly about this image. It is almost too perfect (in a good way). I have found myself looking at it for a very long time and after 5 months of dreary and grey english winter I have come the to conlcusion it's because that is somewhere I would like to be right now. It almost feels like I couyld step inside and feel the gentle warmth of the sun on my back in a that early spring kind of way. Great image and good luck for the rest of the challenge. Bumped to a 8 on second pass. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1121 images, I gave 98 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 98, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.
This photo really captures a sense of tranquility in such an idyllic setting. Nice use of foreground to give the lake and scenery some context, and the blue of the water is gorgeous. Definitely one of those "wish you were here" locations!
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

| Beautiful colors on the lake and sky and very nice reflection. The foreground sort of spoils the beauty of it, so maybe it would be better with the bottom cropped, but that would lose the boats. |

| very bright blue - almost blinding. love the sharpness though - topaz? the central boat near the hill, for me, is the best part - it serves to anchor the entire image. well compsed and like the inclusion of the foreground elements to allow me into the water. 6 |
