I like the grain. I also think you did a great job editing it. I can't explain why it didn't score better; I don't understand voters... |

Good sharp eye! The noise elsewhere is distracting to me...

Really nice, I've just come to bump this to a 7. It would be higher if it weren't for the strange noise on the out of focus areas and some strange marks on the white areas by the cheek on the left. The crop, focus, exposure, toning and expression are all really good. |

I like what you've done with her eye, but I wish her eyebrow was less sharp, like the other one. It just looks a wee bit odd to me. Otherwise I think this is really neat. |

the high key is good, focal point stands out, but I think a little more information in the image would have helped, lacks definition in areas but there's so much in other, the balance feels off to me jmo |

Though the hair, eye and eyebrow in the foreground are incredible, the dof is just too shallow and makes the subject look very odd. Perhaps there is also a little "fisheye-ing". |

Nice portrait, however using a lens at its lower focal distance and being that close to your subject, distortion will occur. I'm not sure if this was your purpose, but I prefer taking a distance from the subject and zooming in to maintain a more natural look. |

The combination of the high key treatment and the shallow DOF makes her ey into a magnet that sucks my gaze to it. Perhaps pimped a tad heavy, but it connects well. |

Like your point of focus on just her eye. Some say the eye is a window to our soul. It's interesting because I tend too see that here. Really nice image. |

She glanced and tilted her head and gave him that grin that told him one thing, and one thing only.
Did he really want to continue this 'discussion'? Well, did he?
He gazed at her and saw the look in her eye just then and decided.
No, he really didn't. |
