It's not a bad shot, but it's not particularly exciting as sports photos go. Perhaps if I were more of a Favre fan I'd connect with it more?

Must be a personal choice. Otherwise its just a typical portrait of a football player to me but if it has meaning to you then its nice you entered it.

Nice shot. Something missing in this shot and i can't quite identify it: exposure perhaps? a little contrast maybe. a greater capture of the expression would have helped also. good luck: 6.
