| personally I do not like "flash" photography to much...there is such "flair" and "shadows" that you get when you use them... |

| The flash made a shadow that is very unattractive in this shot, as well as making very harsh "hot spots." Maybe try bouncing the flash. A very attractive woman, so definitely worth trynig again. |

| There is potential here but the on-camera flash really hurts the exposure. She's a very pretty girl with nice eye coloring. This looks like an un-posed shot or between poses. She would make some great shots with diffused flash and a little more posing. |

| This has elements of a fine photo ... pretty model, decent enough pose. It looks like she was right in front of the wall. Next time ... you might try moveing her several feet away from it to manage the harsh shadow. |

| Great crop and pose and I love the skin tone and focus. The lighting is a bit harsh, though and could use a fill light to get rid of that shadow. |

| There are so many elements that are off here I'm not going to list them all. She's a beautiful woman if you can learn some techniques to improve this shot I'd reshoot her. |

| Gorgeous model, but the lighting setup needs improving - I guess you were using a single flash, possibly on camera which makes it hard to avoid very hash lighting. You have the model close to the backdrop and unfortunately with single small flash that throws a harsh shadow onto it. I think there's a really good shot waiting to get out here - perhaps using some diffuse light from a window instead of flash will yield a much softer look which would really suit this model. |

| Very pretty model, but the lighting is too harsh - especially on the arm, and back of the chair. The highlight on her hair is great (since it is so dark). Her cheek is a bit hot, but I think that'd be OK if the arm wasn't so hot. |

| I'm sorry, the light seems way too heavy and the close shadow doesn't add anything IMO. I'd soften the light and move her away from the background. The angle also makes her arm look very heavy. |

A bit of carefully applied gaussian blur would help this pic quite a bit. Not so much on her, but more on the BG. Lines in the sheet and that nasty looking pleather on the chair.

She does look ready for the closeup... but it looks like the photographer wasn't quite ready. The flash is blowing out parts of her skin and leaving harsh, distracting shadows on the background.
I think this would have been beautiful with natural lighting or lighting from other than straight on, with the subject farther away from the background (to blur it a bit and not see shadows) and to get rid of the black chair... perhaps replacing it with something more attractive, or just readjust her pose to cover her parts without any chair. :)

| The wrinkled background is quite unappealing. The light is far too bright also, causing overblown spots and a harsh shadow. Next time, try using a less direct light source and an uncreased backdrop. The model is attractive and would make a good subject for further challenges. |

| The lighting is very harsh here. Generally, elbows aren't the best thing to have as a focal point/on the rule of thirds. Keep working on the lighting, and pay attention to wrinkles in backgrounds for a finished look. |

| Tthe harsh frontal lighting kills this shot; blown lights on the arm and cheek, hard shadows. In addition, the use of a relatively wide-angled lens makes her arm look very bold. Also, the position of her arm produced wrinkles on her shoulder. Overall, the shot is quite unflattering for your otherwise good-looking model. |
