For me this shot is made by it's title - it's a great quote that draws the viewer in to seek further understanding and take in the component parts of the picture, the elderly gentleman walking on his own lost in thought (memories ?), with the wonderful counterpoint of a fictional woman and child on the wall next to him making a 'virtual' family, all going in the same direction. It is as though his thoughts, dreams and memories are being enacted out on a screen next to him . . a further poignancy is that while he and his surroundings are muted bland colours - his 'dream' is bright and vibrant, full of energy and life.

Very powerful

Wow, isn't this serendipitous! Talk about 'the decisive moment'...

I love this shot. I like the idea that maybe the old man is the kid from the picture on the wall...

I really like this photo because it "says" so much plus your perfect title makes the sharp photo even better.

Liked the man walking beside the picture of a man walking. Maybe the man and the picture could have been closer to each other?

It's as if the painting on the wall is a memory this fella is remembering as he walks past. Lovely shot.
