This was taken in a strange little building - it was almost like a cave. I found it way back in a field. I wanted my husband to be a silhouette but he was too big and filled up the door way. I wanted to covey a picture of someone who has just lost everything – not so much a street person. I had trouble posing my husband and getting him to look like he was depressed. I was concerned that people might not like it as his face is kind of hidden, but it was the best shot.

How does this convey despair? Is that vodka, or wine? What the hell is going on? It looks like a dude walking through a tunnel in a crappy part of town... something millions do every day.

Different take ont eh challenge topic. Not sure that the image is strong enough at showing it though. This photo could have been composed in a significantly more dramitic way to really sell the story.
