 Legend: Many millenium ago on the planet of Orbitron a mighty warrior named Flatulon came to earth and captured a prehistoric human. Flatulon was fascinated by the pearly gems in his prisoner's facial orifice. He questioned the prisoner as to their function. The human was actually an earthly god and explained the purpose of the gems called teeth. The humanly god made a deal with the alien warrior. If he would let him go he would reward the warrior with eternal life. The only catch was that he would have to return to earth once every one hundred years and remove the plaque from a humans mouth. This is the actual picture of the Flatulon removing plaque from the captive human. This is a very rare photo only possible once every 100 years.

Not sure about the green on the arms, to be perfectly honest, it doesn't quite look right. There's some on the right arm that appears to be worn off onto the shirt, or floating in mid air. Also, on the left arm, it looks like only one little stripe of green. I am taking your word for it that's its not a post processing edit job, but still looks a bit strange. I like the superstition very much, and the set up is great. lighting and focus are ok, and the framing/cropping are good as well. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

Never heard of it. Don't know where to see the details. But this is an awesome picture. Sharp, clear, crisp features and colors. Juts plain ole good niner picture

smooth retilian head and then hairy human arms? the model could have worn long sleeves, (lycra would have been great) Or if really committed to DPC; shaved.

I like the use of flash in this photo. The harsh shadows and bright light give it kind of a feeling of being "caught" in the act or "caught on film" Fun idea too.

And how did you get this guys skin to be green? Good twist on theme. Not sure it's an urban legend just yet. Perhaps it should be.

wow, far out. i know folks go to extreme lengths to set up these dpchallenge shots, but it's not often that they actually leave the solar system. nice job.
