A male red-winged blackbird, who insisted on staying right on the border of my lens' range, perched on a bullrush in a swamp. Glad that there is another male to the right and behind him to emphasize whic species it is. Had a tough time choosing a song whose title I wanted to shoot, but glad I got this shot.

Love the general idea, but I find the stump (I think thats what it is) a little distracting, also the red on the bird in the background. |
