I love how you included the ball just about to leave the frame. It's amazing how pitchers can contort their bodies the way they do. Great catch!

Great timing and excellent framing! I like the concentration and the light on the pitcher's face, and the hint of blur in his hand.

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.

I almost missed the ball. There is a bright white object/reflection/glare underneath it and I actually noticed it first. However, the crop made me pause long enough to ask, "WHY would someone crop a picture like that that?" and that make me look a bit more closely.
