| I think there's too many entries in this challenge. I thought I already commented and voted on this one. There's either another one similar or I just looked at it and thought I made the comment. Anyway. Nicely done. Maybe some more light or fill bounce on the left side would help to bring in the texture there too. I like the contrast of the smooth new wood revealed and the play of light and shadow there. A little more dof would bring focus to the bottom portion which is sort of blurry. |

| the bark has very nice texture. technically it's a nice job, but artistically it's lacking a little bit |

| Intriguing imagery with the various shapes and colors. Very even color tone control across the entire image with complimentary color shades. Imparts a sense of time and space. A great image demonstrating natural world textures. A top 15 entry. |
