This is another shot that has great technicals and great texture. But as I've noted on some of the other ones, I think having something else in the shot would help it. Having just texture (which I realize is the challenge topic) makes for a monotonous photograph. Adding something minimally into the shot gives the eye something to rest on and take a breath before exploring or going back to the texture. I like the border here though. |

Interesting use of DOF to create a sharp image from corner to corner with subtle soft focus on the opposite corner. The little black framing top and bottom serve this image well. A very interesting side effect of the way the image is presented is of a trapazoid even though the image is straight - a very effective treatment and one that needs further exploration by the author. If this were a challenge for Unigue View, this would be a sure bet for a ribbon. As it is, it's a good entry into the challenge - forthright and purposeful. |

to me it looks like the image is tilted slightly clockwise, but it has to be an illusion. it's pretty cool. to explain better, the frame at the top looks like the left side is more narrow than the right side. anyway, the processing looks good, but the image doesn't really do much for me |
