it's a nice looking pub, but the shot is quite a bit of focus, which might affect your overall score - sharp images do usually tend to do better here. to get round this, when you're out and about it might be worth keepin an eye out for a flat surface you can balance your camera on - taking a shot at night / dusk invariably leads to a longer exposure time, and hand shake is impossible to avoid. using a timer (if it has one) and a flat surface so you don't have to hold the camera can result in some really sharp photos. |

Lovely scene, just slightly out of focus. |

This is a nice scene and looks like a wonderful place to be. Consider a tripod for shots like this. It suffers quite a bit from camera shake. I like the composition. |

Oh, this is so close to very, very good. A tripod would make this a real winner as it needs to be tack sharp. Good try! |

This is a bit OOF and very cluttered. |

if this was captured on a picture phone it would be great, on anything else it's pretty bad - blurred and out of focus. |

This picture is way too blurry. Did you use a tripod or try bracing the camera on something, like one of the tables? Also, it's suffering from being compressed too much - try saving with a higher jpeg quality setting. |

all that lighwould be nicer if you had nailed the focus. Pretty well composed, certainly meets the challenge, but nothing is in focus. |

too blurry - hurts my eyes to look at (was this handheld long exposure?) |

good idea. i like the texture of the building. but i think sharper focus would work better and the people in the shot kind of weaken it IMO. |

Focus is a little to soft for my liking. What that your intention? |

This a beautiful place but unfortunately it's kinda blurry. A tripod would have helped. |

Great color contrast, and 100% for the challenge. The focus is a bit soft, maybe the fading light or camera movement? Nice looking place. |

this might have been a lot better with a tripod. |

No single strong focus point. I'd shift more to the right and catch the sign, door, and people on the bench. |

quite blurry, low light could've made your autofocus go screwy, if possible, in low light, use manual focus |

I'd crop in closer on the sign and window to bring more interest to the image and focus on the lights a little. The main thing here is to try to get it into focus. It appears that you camera may have let you down a bit on this one. It's worth trying again though. I like the tiger. |

Was the soft focus intentional? |
