This ould have been a great shot if the subjects were facing you and the shutter speed was up a bit to stop from getting bluriness. A bit of sharpening would have helped here as well.

Indoor shots are hard to get a high enough shutter on. Motion can't always be captured with nice detail.

Lighting is a bit harsh and the background is distracting and busy. Shallow DOF would make this pop more and I think it would look good in color.

An excellant composition and capture. The black and white conversion works well, but could use a little more dynamic tonal range - it seems to be overly bland with no tension that one would expect from this type of image.

I'm not keen on the motion blur or the shadows here but an interesting take on the challenge.
