I'm sorry, but this doesn't seem as a superstition or legend to me. It will probably be a local thing... I'm also not very in to these composed shots. Tried it a few times, but I really don't like it. Technique is good however. |

this is actually true. so it's probably not a 'superstition' or 'urban legend' .. cute idea tho |

wow, two of these ones this week. Those cookies are actually pretty good even though it's not really a $250 recipe. I like how you set this one up. |

My wife was the one responsible for the other Neiman Marcus cookie shot in the challenge. I told her nobody would get it and she should try something else, and now you have gone and given her the right to say "I told you so" all week. I'll try not to hold it against you. |

What is it about this Neiman Marcus ? I've seen this theme before in this weeks challenge. Is it some sort of legend about a guy who gets something in his cookie and then suits the company?
It's a nice picture, but I'm afraid that the message gets losts amongst us non americans... |

I hadn't heard this one before, but after seeing a couple similar shots I had to head to Google to learn more! Very amusing story, nice shot :) |

I like the texture of the table cloth. It draws the eye throughout the whole shot. Good lighting and DOF. Nit-picking, but a cloth napkin would have kept the soft look of the table cloth. Composition is good. |

I guess we were thinking alike. I feel vindicated - I also took a Neiman Marcus cookie shot and my husband said no one would get it. Now I know at least one other person will get it! |
