Will probably drop like a stone since there is only one crayon (challenge description does say "crayons") in the image...sucker for punishment I guess. But it was fun and the whole family got involved. We all chipped in with the kiddie art image and I had various Helping Hands in the set up. Yep - using the sheet of glass again: had to scrub off the permanent marker pen with acetone

and set the children to painting this Easter morn

would have liked to see the other half of the face better of the boy. Looks a bit weird cut off like that.

ok, this was a good idea...but...it appears that most of the work on the glass was done with paints and not crayons

This is an interesting shot. I love the fact that the boy seems desaturated along with the background but the colors are really "colorful". A tad brighter maybe?

A very creative look at crayons- the image meets the subject matter and by looking at the simple nature of a child at play. A terrific demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge. Should be a sure bet to win a ribbon or place high as a top twenty image. A couple of minor detail problems not worth mentioning because they don't appear until you really get a critical eye and examine the image closely. Well done.

Very cool shot. There's some bright spots on the child's face in the shadows that are distracting, other than that I really dig the lighting.

Nice shot, the rightside of the face is a little bright IMO.
