Greetings from the Critique Club!
Initial impression: Made me smile with the hand drawing the camera and a picture being taken of the hand drawing the camera.
Technical: Like the execution here; the lighting is good, composition is made more interesting by the angles of the paper and the hand.
Artistic: I like the blurred hand, because I feel the pic would have looked too static otherwise. The orange of the pencil helps offset the blue of the camera body. There does seem to be a lot of white space at the lower right, though.
FWIW: I probably would have cropped in a bit more, or have the drawing closer to the spine of the sketchbook. In voting, I would give this a 6.
Feel free to PM me with any questions,
Susan |

the motion-blurred hand is too distracting. i would have kept a more static pose...or at least held the bottom two fingers still while moving the pencil back and forth |

Not a bad shot. I like the binding at the bottom left. I actually wish the hand was not blurred. |

The image meets the subject matter effectively. A sound demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge in a very unusual way. A couple of minor detail problems as the image appears to be less than sharp as it should be - perhaps a higher shutter speed or a time lapse of the hand drawing would have been better. A good solid entry into the challenge. |

nice action. might have been a bit more appealing without the brown space above and to the right of the hand. it distracts from the pristine feel of the paper |
