There is a funny story behind this picture. As soon as the sunset was over, we got ready to go back to the hotel, we packed up and rode the SUV. My brother, inserted the key and turned the ignition, "Click click click click"! The car wouldn't start, and we were in the middle of nowhere, 15 minutes drive away from the resort! We tried tightening the battery contacts but still no go. Soon, it got dark, my son started panicking and started crying. Haha! Good thing the guard house was close, so we asked for the guard's help. He radioed for a mechanic, but none was around, so he just radioed for a shuttle to pick us up and just leave the car there until morning. The guard also told us about another resort guest having the same experience at exactly the same spot happening the day before, right in front of the freaky fire tree. My mom immediately concluded it was supernatural, haha!! It was fun and tiring.

More a image of lighting than a creative use of lighting. It's hard to rate this because of it's nature. It might have been a better approach to find a subject and then use the lighting to create the image rather than of the light itself. |

I love this!! Would make a beautiful wallpaper and also a wonderful Print!!I love how the tree is so gnarly at the base and then becomes so soft out at the ends.. and the colors of the sunset/rise are amazing how they light the tree. I would give ya 10 10's if I could |

Wonderful. I like how the sun side lights the edge of each part of the tree's three big branches. Gorgeous. |
