| Love the shot! Had it ranked in my top group as one the ribbons. Your focus is spot on and the 1/2000 shutter speed freezes it well. Not sure why this one got so many 6's. Sometimes, I don't think people appreciate or realize how hard it is to successfully capture birds in flight, especially raptors. What is it? A harrier? Also, lens used? |

I like angle of flight, clean detail, and stands out well with pale bg..
Proud of u for going for him..
Many Thanks for nice comments.. I feel like " Mind that Bird" horse in the Kentucky Derby who came out of no where and won the race..(even tho didn't quite win.)

| Oooh. Pretty! Great detail, lovely pose from your model. Not a sucky score or placing. Would it kill you to get something at less than 70% once in awhile? (On second thought, it probably would....) :-) Very crisp, clean, lovely work as always! I'm horribly envious. |

OMG .. this is spectacular .. i love the amazing clarity and the quality of the photograph ..
you've captured such grace and beauty .. the bird against the clear sky is excellent .. makes him stand out with no distractions at all .. once again i think totally differently to everyone else ..!!!!
notice you took this with the 1D .. you're off to a great start considering you're not used to using it yet .. WOW .. !!..:) |

| Great capture of the bird, but the stark white background doesn't work for me. I would prefer to see cloudy sky or something, and not flat white |
