PostLuminous Award Nominee!
What a GREAT shot!! A wonderfully out of the box approach to this challenge, but forget this challenge--this image stands on its own merits and needs neither votes or postlumie awards to validate it... :-) |

This is an extraordinary photo. I can't believe it didn't get a much higher score. Beautiful shot to start with, and beautiful processing. The bird makes it special for me. There is such height and air to the image. The only thing I might suggest would be to crop off the windows at the bottom. I think they reduce that lofty feeling with too heavy an anchor. |

really cool, love how the bird seems to be part of the painting, you've really got a way of seeing what most people will just walk by and not notice |

I didn't vote this challenge, but would have rated it 8 for the originality, the bird, and the strange crop making the image superbly dynamic. |

Sad finish :-( I was one of your higher votes as well. Seems I'm always drawn to your quirky eye :-) |

I was your 10. I guess I like boring, oddly composed and generally blah photos.....
This is breathtaking, how the bird appears to be flying out of painting of the tree on the wall and into the scene...as if it is moving from one dimension to another. |

Now if you had colored the leaves and branches this would have been a killer, nice find and the bird a great part of the composition. |

I gave it an 8. Besides, you cleaned up in the last tree themed challenge! |

My little girl asks "How did they put the tree up there?" Unique/creative idea. |

What a unique find. The bird is in just the right spot. Is that a birdhouse sticking out from the window? |

Unusual both in content and composition. Works well, for me. Quirky. |

Good idea, nice colors and nice catch of the bird, but i think the bird and the sky are more attractive than the tree. I'm not really convinced with those windows at the bottom too. But i really like this shot, i think the perspective adds a lot to the composition. Good luck! Sorry if i was rude. |
