I love all your eagle shots, the clarity and detail in all of them is something that I have been trying to work on with my 400mm. Just beautiful shots. Coulda also called this one checking for cavities :)

Awesome image. I think this is evidence that it is good to listen to your wife more often. She seems to have an eye for this place....

The details and energy of the image are outstanding, the expression is classic, and the delivery from a technical point of view is flawless.

Nice detail and competent execution. Suffers a point or two from overfamiliarity of eagle head pictures. Difficult to pin down a more constructive comment because I haven't clarified internally all my thinking about the overlap and differences of technical craft and photographic art.

This image is simply incredible - the detail and color is stunning - a complete technical success and from an artistic standpoint has a lot of impact. Superlatives fail to adequately describe the impression imparted by this close in look at a magnificent raptor. A blue ribbon winner.

This is a truly brilliant shot. I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is the acknowledged master of eagle shots, Alain (IMO anyway). If this is not Alain, please take this as a sincere compliment.

As you might seem from my portfolio, I've had a bit of success with eagle shots, but this is far better than anything I've ever done.

Excellent take! Did it look slightly oversharp to you?
