This photo is a combination of overexposed areas (the window) and underexposed (the room) There are no correctly exposed areas in this photo. The crop is not even, the subject is very uninteresting, the black and white processing doesn't work......... |

Without your title I wouldn't have known it was about a skate board, which is hardly recognizable. |

There are lots of things than can be improve in here, To get out of the point and shoot prospective, try a different angle,
You don't have to show all to convey the message, self critique works most of the time,
Keep up the good work and you'll get there ..

this photo lacks of a border and motivational message in the photo (I'd prefer there to be one, consider it as you were writting a motivational letter and following certain rules), the skate can be barely seen, and what is that near the window, napkins? are they really necesary in the photo? And the b&w isn't much appealing for this kind of a photo |

It has a nice arty touch, but little things like the imperfect perspective (window frame) and unbalanced symmetry weaken it. |
