 I had a too voluminous hazel on the grounds and this early Spring I chopped it quite short. For a long time it didn't do anything and I was afraid I had chopped the life out of it. Tonight, while walking the dogs, I saw tiny new sprouts. So I got my camera, put the flashlight low in the trunk and took a picture. Persistence is the essence of existence, seemed the right quote (my own) for this little sprout.


PP: cropped and mirrored the image, added borders, resized to 620, sharpening, added text in vector (font is Castellar).

It is.......the combination of colours you have used for this works very well, as the use of both the green and red highlight these in the photo. I think the depth of field for the photo was too shallow, as I feel that having the right hand side of the plant blurred detracts from the overall image. Hvaing this photo all crisp and clear I feel would have made a stronger statement

I am not sure what I am seeing here....just too few pixels to know. I really like the colors and the color contrast, but it loses some meaning without knowing what it is.
