Greetings from the Critique Club!

As a member of the critique club, I guess you are aware how hard it is sometimes to provide adequate insight for the photographer. I will try to give some guidance & useful comments.

Conceptually I think this is a good photo and it clearly meets the challenge.

However, from a technical point of view I think it misses a bit due to the very blown out highlights in the sky. I appreciate how difficult it is to control the sky when the weather is so blah, but I do think as this was an advanced editing challenge, you could possibly have improved the sky considerably. Simplest would have been to just select the sky (using the lasso tool), feather the selection and then using a levels adjustment layer darkened the sky slightly. I do think this would have made a world of difference in your score.

I think you could have improved on the composition a little, although that may depend on how much space you had to the left. It feels a bit cramped in the frame, so maybe an uncropped version would work better?

I'd love to see this with the sky looking better, so if you get the chance, I hope you post a re-edit.

Sarah

I love this but a little suggestion- maybe turn it into a grey scale and angle yourself more to the left to really shoqw movement.

Nice bright colours. I only wish the sky didn't look so blah.
