That's so cool. It looks like a some kind of creature in the center. I see two eyes, a nose and an mouth, as well as a dress and two arms.

I don't think the centered composition works for this shot. The foliage and other blossoms have the effect of leading the eye away from the central flower. The lighting is very flat for the subject. The result is rather drab color with very little texture. Consider placing a single blossom off-center and taking the shot at a time of day where it will be lit from behind, capturing the beautiful translucent petals. If you can manage a blurred background with your camera that is also quite helpful. |

seems like has nothing to do with challenge? other than that needs saturation bumped-up to make colours more rich. |

?-Maybe if this wasn't so centered. I'd suggest adding a little saturation to make the colors rich. They look a bit washed out. I have seen orchids this color, pretty. |

Pretty flower. The liight source is soft and seems to be from one source, very pretty though |
