done for the june - where i live side challenge

this was yesterday when we went for a walk on the firetrail .. katee was very interested in this fallen log .. if i had a sense of smell like her and was a dog i'd probably have found it fascinating too .. !!
this is one of the originals ..

it was overcast and there wasnt much light .. to catch her moving i used a fairly fast shutter speed .. i then had to up the iso so i wasnt underexposed .. there was a lot less grain than i thought there'd be .. (i dont usually have the iso up so high ..)

And the final result is fascinating ;), I love the processing on your pictures.
Katee might find some interesting smells, but you always find some interesting scenes ;)

A great composite you ahve put together. The textures through the logs and the water are great and make the shot really interesting. Great lighting here.......

Great slice of life for Kaytee. Great processing, too, as always.

Imagine an image of her peeking from under the log from both sides.. That would be amusing. And I don't blame her for finding it fascinating.. I'd be all over that as well..

Roz, you really do manage to bring out the best of a photo with your processing. I feel like sending some of mine and seeing what you could do with them! I've had a series of day trips with really awful flat light, I'll be you could make something half way decent out of some of them :)

It's your little star girl again : )
That was creative to double the little hound for this scene. I bet she wishes that she could watch both sides of the trail at the same time like the image depicts.

Is this what you'd call a split personality? Bow and Wow? As always, roz, love your pp.

Roz, you ALWAYS make me want to show up on your doorstep and ask for a walk on the Firetrail.
And this does the exact same thing. I really like the feel of exploration and understated beauty that this shot nails.
