I love the tilt and the colors. Did you try a shot with it on the right, leaning toward the edge of the frame like it was about to fall out? |

I agree with the general sentiment that you could easily mistake ths for a graveyard scene. I like the separation from between foreground and background, it really gives this more depth. |

Originally, from the thumb, I also thought it was an old and interesting grovestone, but no, an old signpost hiding in the verge. A very interesting image and well composed. the only part that doesn't fit the overall look is the powerlines. I would ahve been tempted to quickly clone them out of the image. |

interesting how this reminds me of a grave stone .. appropriate really ..
its a great shot of times gone by .. :)
around where i live we have some old signposts remaining but they're in miles .. we converted to kms sometime or other, i cant remember exactly when .. i dont see the old signs often but its like i step back in time for a few moments .. not a bad feeling actually .. !!..:) |
