subject matter is good, but i don't like the colors, perhaps the background could be of a different color?

A bit more in focus and this would have been great. Beautiful nontheless, and a very fitting title.

although i am aware of the difficulty of achieving a narrow aperture with macro shots, this could use a little more focus. :-)

Too dark and out of focus. Bad crop. Too much empty for this. Has a lot of potential though. 5 for the potential. PTL

nice picture. Just a little out of focus

Yes, a very tranquil shot. Excellent colors for the mood.

i love the 'soft' mood in this photo... the reflection and the gradient background really create a nice touch here... great shot :) - setzler

The subject should never be blurry on the part of the subject nearest the viewer, IMO. I like the framing and the color but can't get over the unclear area of the leaf. - Inspzil

Good but a different angle might have produced a better effect

Great detail on the leaf, but a little to out of focus on the veins. Nice set up. Jacko.

Great colours

Great composition, if part of the leaf had to be out of focus it should have been the back edge, not the front
