Oh dear... I never considered the fact that some might think I was trying to say that Langdon lives 'in a bubble'.
The reason the thought never came to me is that.. .well, for one... I rarely HAVE a thought... *grin* and for two... it's not a bubble, but a water globe.
I had this for my Never Seen shot:
But, it just seemed so... ummm.... 'flat' to me, with the stickers and such. So, even though I worked FOREVER on the scene and the shooting of it, I just couldn't enter it, especially after hearing that this challenge was to FINALLY be the first challenge for the FINAL round of the Head-To-Head Faceoff with AndrewT. He's such a good photographer, that I knew I would lose the round, but didn't want to go down with out a semblance of a fight, at least. :0)
So, I put the "warehouse" scene on my computer and shot it through the waterglobe... that wasn't right either... so I shot the shot of the shot of the 'warehouse' shot. That wasn't quite right either, so I shot the shot of the shot of the shot of the warehouse scene...
You get the idea.
Anyway, that's my story. No offense, Langdon. I wanted to honor you... I think you have a great place for photographers to learn and play here.
Thanks bunches! |

I thought this was quite intriguing! I liked that you did this in black and white. Although, now that I have seen your other one, you shoulda gone for broke just to see how that one would have done. Both shots are very creative! |

What a fun photograph. The reflections give a lot of depth, giving the sense of the man behind the curtain...the Wizard of Oz. |

There is so much detail in this photo. So many different reflections to pick out. I'm curious what is causing the distortion. Almost looks like a bubble. |

This is very cool. The diagonal reflection of windows is what really makes this a winner for me. |

IMHO I reckon this is one of few images that a) meet the challenge and b) is of an above average quality. I think I'm getting the link with Langdon (has anybody ever seen him) and whilst there are a couple of blown areas and the overall image is a little 'busy' the longer I look at it the more I like it (almost 1984). Good luck! |

It looks like the close-up of HAL in 2001. Interesting trying to figure out what everything is. I like how the camera is camouflaged. |
