This is such a nice capture and three to boot. I just don't see how this image did not make it into the top 10. I am placing it in my favorites. |

Stunning work! Amazing detail. The depth of field is exceptional and the gray tones are perfect. A 10 from me! |

Great macro shot and excellent detail. Composition and direction of the ants works nicely. I would have liked this shot in color though. |

incredible capture. perfect timing for this. is that a magnolia?
love the b&w treatment, and the way the ants form a leading line. |

Nice peony & ants. I assume the b&W works better with the green/pink contrasts. |

how'd you get them to cooperate just so? great shot. like it in b/w...really allows the eye to enjoy your busy threesome. |

wow, i never cease to be amazed at the detail on these bug shots. wonderful picture, i hope this one at least makes top 10. would have been nice if the ant furthest to the right were a little less blurry, but great nevertheless. |

Great ant shot. You can see the tiny hairs and spikes on them, even the last one's eyes. Great job on such a tiny subject. |

I like the shot, although I think it would have been even better in color. |
