 Full frame (no cropping) using my Sigma 105mm macro lens with an 50mm F1.8 reversed in front of it. Handheld. 2 flashes (420EX and 550EX) fired off by a wireless flash trigger (ST-E2). The 2 flashes are on light stands and set up to shoot through transluscent white umbrellas. You know, basic P&S (point and shoot) stuff.

Well that is close up. Might it be too close? I think it might. A quarter is a quarter after all and going this close just cuts down on the abilitiy to compose and see a bit more of the detail that you have captured so finely.
