Critique Club

Overall the image is very strong, well composed, there is a richness to the tonal values you chose to present. There really isn't anything I would change to the image itself but I would lose the blueish gray in the border, just doesn't do anything for it. Seems to be more of a distraction than a help.

I'm not sure why you chose blue for the border but I think a shade similar to the browns in the photo would be more effective :)

very nice detail and composition. The colors are nice as well. My only nit is that it is hard for me to discern where the large feathers begin and end. I'm sure it should be obvious bu the difference in color and pattern on the bottom most feather is throwing me. Very nice despite my apparent lack of visual accuity.
