| I don't know why a couple people saw a person in jeans as one of the soccer players...whatever. This should have done so much better. I gave it a 9; a very rare score from me. It seems like if I like a photo a lot it is doomed to place lower than it deserves. |

| I love this. I love the color and clarity of the umbrella and the placement of the figure off in the distance. It tells a simple story, evokes a mood, and is beautiful to look at. This is my top pick. |

| nice idea. i would have liked a deeper DOF, but i understand you couldn't because of the challenge. But it would have improved the picture. |

| Your photo doesn't focus on team sports, but on the umbrella (to me). I see a net, but it's not the "subject / theme" of the photo. I think the person in the background is a little bit distracting too. Quality wise: i love the focus / clarity, composition and lighting. |
