| This is small., but I love the imagery. Liooks like the football might be a bit flat. Normally I don't vote highly on small images, but this still manages to convay team sports without the team. 8 |

| If the people weren't such a significant element in this photo (and if it were a bit larger), it would probably get a ribbon. This is an excellent idea for this contest and you captured the shot beautifully. Nice job! |

| Really good idea for this challenge. In teh future you may want to icnrease the actual size of your photo because people in DPC tend to vote lower on small images. Try to use up the maximum 640 x480 - as much as possible. I think the sunlight in this one is a tiny bit too harsh and may have been a bit better in the early morning or late evening - the composition of the hands is good, but the pantleg with no shoe is maybe not necessary - try thinking about your use of negative space. | I don't know for sure, but I would think the people holding the ball might be the players, and thus to me, I don't feel it represents the challenge. The photo is also very small, and hard to get a full feel for. The dark shadows are a little distracting, and perhaps you can try to lighten them up with a fill in flash. The crop is a little tight on the left too. The colors are nice. Good luck. |

| I thought the challenge was suppose to NOT photograph the players. Besides, this is small, we are allowed to submit 640 px at the longest dimension. A bigger picture would give your readers more detail to appreciate your work especially a tug-at-heart picture like this. |
