Hey! I thought you had to roll the balls in this game... I didn't know you were allowed to throw them! I will thrash my wifes uncle next time with this strategy.

Nice shot but I think the background shadow diverts the eyes too much from the rest of the image. A lighter shadow would have worked well.

not enough interest

Not quite sure what is going on in this shot. Not much color, and I wish the ball in mid-air had more focus. The shade toward the top of the photo takes too much away from the overall shot, too.

Fun! I hope the U.S. voters reconize the bacchi balls! Nice capture of the ball in flight.

A nicely composed photo. Good levels and contrast. Color of the lawn is a bit washed out. Focus is a bit off but capturing the motion was worth it. I would have rated this a 4 or 5 except Bacci is a game where individuals compete and therefore not a team sport: doesn't meet the challengs. (1)

What are those silver balls? I am not familiar with this sport.

These balls may have photographed better in early morning light or early evening light. It's very distracting with the harsh sunlight. The green of the grass doesn't look that rich.

This looks rather overexposed. There is almost no detail. There are too many hot spots (the bright flares of lights on the balls). The composition seems rather haphazard. I have no idea what game this represents.

well caught, but the lighting is a little off for my taste

Great capture - good timing! Boche right? The photo looks a little washed out though - and the shadow in the back detracts.

The idea is certainly a good one but the image fails for a number of reasons for me. Firstly, the composition isnt all that great with the negative space in the bottom right and the ball cropped on the left. There is also a border of shadow/curb at the top - if the image was staged then the background should be taken into account and moved to a continuous patch of grass. The grass itself is quite dull-looking and some saturation boost in an editing program would have helped some.

The moment is cool put the image is not very appealing!

Original idea choosing Bocci. Nice blur on the bouncing ball, and good DOF.
