This was an amazing photo to watch being scored and commented on ... I was going to pull it and I am glad I didn't ... I have sold four 11x14 prints on a metallic paper to people not involved with DP. Thank you for your comments and your votes.

This is one of the most sensual flower shots I've ever seen, in some ways comparable to "Peach Explosion" by floyd:

Technically there is a lot of noise and some focus issues, but that's not the point here. This is well done!

Good for you! Fine shot; always good to remember that DPC is not the real world! :-)

Impressive visual effect as if being sucked into a hole.

Wow! I'd like to see this in colour. Nice detail.

It doesn't immediately make me think of a flower... I see something else entirely. The title suits my twisted mind.

I wonder what this looks like in colour. This version is mostly the same shade of grey which makes it rather dull.

Not sure about the foreground bokeh here but I like the crispness of the drops on the flower.

I am not sure I like the blurred foreground. And I don't like B&W on this one....4.

all i can think about when I look at this is how it looks like...a womans anatomy. BUT! This photo is gorgeous, I love the use of B&W and the dewdrops just make the photo even better.

Very interesting, almost sexual in nature.

wish you had left the color in, kind of fails to pop for me despite excellent composition and technicals
