CC Club here.
Well, as pointed out, it is pretty much out of focus. It would have been a great shot in focus. The silica in the sand would have popped out and all those colours would have made this a very great shot

Focus and exposure seem to be on the rock in the front left, rather than the pebble. I think some careful curves work might have been able to help with the exposure. |

The poor focus of this image means that the textures of the rocks are not clear. As a result, it becomes just large areas of slightly out of focus colours. The compositon lacks imagination or something to make it stand out |

I like this idea, especially the composition, but the rock in the middle (quartz?) is a little out of focus and perhaps a little washed out. To sum up, the amount of detail on the subject does not equal the amount of detail that exists around it. IMHO, I wish it did. Nice photo. |
