Love this shot! My criticism is the pixelization of the image. Very obviously
overenlarged. Too many pixels visible. Still... I like the shot. |

nice textures on the oars, but i'd like to see more contrast. |

OOO bad pun in the title :) I like the B&W still life, crisp detail and repetitive pattern. One of my ribbon picks |

It's really a nice black and white image depicting a difficult team sport. I must say however that your title, although catchy, makes one moan and groan. |

I like the abstract nature of this photo. Levels, focus, and contrast are nearly perfect. Black and white works well. Portrait orientation works well. Very little to criticize. The highlights on the rightmost oar are lost on the others. I bit stronger highlights would have improved it in my opinion. I suspect it may score a bit below what it deserves because it's not very dynamic. Good luck. (8) |

Original idea, I like that it doesn't include balls in this one, an extra point for thinking outside the norm. |

Looks a little pixelated. Not sure, but probably overprocessed somehow. |

This is a really good idea and is well composed. However, it is extraordinarily pixelated and looks really compressed. Is this from a cell phone camera? It seems in focus, but just lacks the resolution. You may want to consider using a different program to resize your work or increase the resolution on your camera. If it was really sharp and not pixelated, I would have given it a 7. However, I'm giving it a 5 because of the poor quality. |

really effective - good sense of texture, almost abstract in a way. |

Nice, looks like a painting. Focus could be sharper. |

This looks awfully pixelated, you use only 12k! If you had used the full 150k, it might have been a very good photo. 3 |

Beautiful image. I would have liked it a bit sharper, but that could just be my crappy monitor. 8 |

Great concept and composition (the diagonal placement of the oars looks very good) ... even b & w works here but there is much compression artefacts that distract the viewing. Thumbnail looks terrific though. |

At first I was going to suggest cropping out the partial oar on the right, but when I covered it with my hand, I noticed that there would have been a mysterious shadow on the next one. Nicely done. |
