 This is my mate Roy, his dreadlocks touch the floor yet he is over 6' tall. I have known him years and we have played music together.

I am hoping for this to break my run of bad scores

Woo Hoo! Way to go, MAK! Isn't it great when your photo exceeds your expectations? Roy makes a fabulous subject, and you did him justice. I'd love to see a picture of his floor-length dreadlocks too. Do you have any???

the blur in some points gets a bit distracting (like the nose) but the photo is nice, i like the choice of sepia

The slightly shallow DOF draws my attention to his nose, otherwise I think this is an outstanding portrait. Wonderful light and tones to it, and an interesting subject.
